A caddy?

Unbelievable how the media is having a feeding frenzy with the Tiger Woods – Steve Williams breakup.  Williams is getting more face time than Adam Scott is and Scott won the tournament!

 

A caddy is an independent contractor and Williams has certainly made a boatload of money as a result of being with tiger for 12 years.  While I can’t support Tiger for all of his other stuff, the guy does not deserve all of this crap over firing his Caddy.  Williams is a Caddy…not a cabinet member.  His job is to carry the bag, offer advice and support the player.  It is not brain surgery and he grossed a cool $150K or so for his efforts the past 4 days.  Go get a real job!!

 

Got Game Consulting - Feed the Zombie

Hello Friends, Family, Colleagues, etc;

Got Game Consulting (that’s me) in association with Wasted Minds Entertainment plans on producing a feature length film, a Zombie film, called “Cube Ghouls”.  We are in the process of raising pre-production funds, in which we have 45 days to raise $5,000.  So I have come up with a creative way to get people involved at varying levels of investment, very low levels at that. 

Our project to raise the funds is called “Feed the Zombie”.  We are using a fund raising vehicle called Kickstater to manage this process.  If you click the link below you will be directed to our Kickstarter project site.  This site will give you details about the film and there is also a short and enjoyable video to view.  You will also notice the donation levels available and the rewards associated with each level, so at the lowest level you will receive a copy of our inaugural Zombie Comic and at the highest level you receive a part in the film.  The in- between levels grant you varying degrees of exposure, involvement, etc.

A few details; first and foremost your pledge does not get processed until the project has run its 45 day time limit.  So what you pledge today will not be taken from you until 7/24.  If we do not make our goal of $5,000 all bets are off and your pledge is never processed.  So this is pretty much risk free.  Hopefully we will make our goal, but at least your pledge does not go into any black hole, if we do not hit 5K, we do not accept your money.

I am also including a link so you can explore Wasted Minds Entertainment.  WME located in Portland, ME is a very creative production company who I helped establish as their management consultant.  The organization has a stable of creative minds and is very passionate about making independent films.  Their script for “Cube Ghouls” has received rave reviews and everything is ready to go except for the money.

So at the very least give it a look and entertain yourself and gain some exposure to what social media can offer.  If you choose to pledge, well that is great and thank you.  If not, no sweat.  In any event I would appreciate you sending this on to friends and colleagues if you are comfortable in doing that.
